How Our Christmas Flags Are Made
Each handmade Xmas decoration is lovingly designed and handcrafted to the highest standards by Sara Thursfield Textiles. We have developed our designs to create truly exclusive and bespoke Xmas bunting. The Christmas flags are created from carefully selected fabrics and only star quality cotton poplin is chosen. These Christmas bunting flags are double-sided and every pennant has a central lining of polyester cotton (making them 3 layered in total) to give an extensive weight to the fabric Christmas bunting when hung.
A small selection of the Xmas banners are made from high grade hessian, uniquely chosen to create a rustic Xmas decoration. The hessian pennants on these bespoke Christmas decorations have crochet lace trim carefully sewn onto their edges to give the festive banners a pretty vintage style appearance. All hessian pennants are backed with polyester cotton to give a neat finish, extensive weight when hung and to alleviate fraying. Quality cotton or satin acetate bias binding is used for the span of the hanging Xmas decorations.
