I am a designer/maker based in the south east of the U.K and I work with fabric and fibre to create an eclectic mix of textile art. Textile art allows me to indulge a passion for fabrics and fibres and to explore the boundless possibilities that materials can offer. I love to experiment with unconventional synthetic fibres and whilst studying for a Contemporary Crafts degree as a mature student, I discovered the wonders of Angelina fibres. Along with specializing in constructed textiles for a B.A (Hons) in Art and Design and my love of free motion embroidery, the seed for the self-designed embroidered vessels was planted.

Since my graduation I have created my textile art business and my product range has expanded to include the hand-pouring of tea lights in unusual colours to complement the sparkling Angelina fibre embroidered tea light holders. For me, a new practice has evolved from this process and I am enjoying chandling immensely. Other obsessions include a love of fabrics, all things lace and Shabby Chic and then combining these elements to create unusual and vintage style quality bunting. Well, lace must be included very much everywhere!
